Mirror of Perception

What you see is what you get (objectively). What you choose to see and to perceive out of it, is a different thing. Remember the classic, first impression lasts? It’s based from what you have seen, absorbed, maybe in a form of physical, emotional energy from a situation which randomly gives you a surprising stimuli which in return you have a given a judgement or reaction to.

For me, it’s a matter of perception. Oftentimes, people tend to hide what they want people not to see, not to mistook them from and vice versa, they do the things that people wants to see, maybe for his sake or for others. Actions encourage versatile meanings of endless proportions as well as words. They are evenly powerful in their own.

Yet, there is one portal that seems to be the best tool for non-verbal communication, our eyes. Photos speak a thousand words, same as our mirror to ones’ soul, our pair of eyes. When our eyes absorbs what we see, our eyes processes multiple things we can never imagine and that goes directly into our perception thats when the brain do it’s magic. It’s classic way of intervention. Popping ideas, connecting the dots, solving puzzles, reading lips same as body languages.

As a result, our brain gives off what it perceives. Giving our eyes the power to be the mirror of filtered perceptions emitting messages through eye to eye contact. That’s when we learn what people wants to us to understand, the way their eyes says No, be careful, please, run, I love you and many more. It’s an endless portal for a non-verbal way of sharing inputs, subtle messages limited to one’s perception or understanding of the current situation.

This is the way I see the world with my eyes. The unevitable questioning, reasoning, explorations and discoveries. Eyes being the mirror of perception – it reflects what its’ sees to believe.
